I still find it weird they turn into a kind of plastic, which is ever-so-slightly flexible, rather than a solid clay thing which is what I imagined them to be. Still, they’ll be more durable as a plastic than a clay

Here’s something else you can do with Fimo and Sculpy, http://pics.livejournal.com/xinef/pic/00045204/g41.

Easy to make. You take the polymer clay and make your pattern as a very thin layer. Mould it onto plain glass balls and bake for a relatively short period of time. We did a whole bunch of these years ago. Some haven’t been photographed.
